Final Version

Dragon Lays Its Head In The Lap Of Princess Child

Here’s another card in the series, commissioned by FlattenMe. It went through numerous changes before arriving at this final version in the forest with castle in the background.

I created the first version inside the castle, in the bedroom, but amendments were requested. Here is the earlier version:

Earlier Version With Different Background

This card will be used as a birthday invitation for girls. After finishing the exterior image I created the inside, which will be personalized.

Is there any way I can get you to make me this same invitation but with a pic of my son in knight armor or something similar? This is the most amazing invitation and would be so perfect for his 4th birthday. Thanks!

We dont’ have this exact card with knights, but have something similar. You can see it here:

    Hello Angela,

I made the Princess Dragon card for a company called Flattenme There was just a girl version for this particular card. I forwarded your comment to Margo at Flattenme, (her comment is above). She has put the link to another card from their website. Please note that the art on the alternate card (see link above) is done by another digital artist, it is not my art.

I need a birthday invitation for a girl who is turning 10. She wants a dragon themed birthday party and we love your invite! Is it possible to do it with a purple dragon?

Hello Barbara, I designed this card for a company called Flattenme, their website is If you upload a photo of the girl’s face to their website when you order the card, her face will be inserted into the card in place of the child’s face that you see in this image. Also, you will be able to add a personalized message inside the card. I don’t think they will recolor the dragon, but you can contact them via the Contact link on their site and ask this question.

I am not currently designing single cards due to other time commitments.
